To balance the economic downfall, the USA government launched the Economic Impact Payments program. Under this plan, millions of Americans received payment via stimulus check. If you have not received your money, you should know how to find the missing funds and claim them.

Not everyone was entitled to a stimulus check payment. It is possible that you did not receive your checks because you did not qualify for them. The basic terms for the payments are:

Note that you will NOT receive a missing stimulus check. however, you can claim the money for your 2020/2021 federal tax return.

Local government websites: as the IRS no longer operates an online stimulus check search service, you can find your missing money with your local government. US governments provide online and offline unclaimed money search services. So, you can find your money online, and claim one or more stimulus checks as your 2020/2021 federal tax return.
